So let’s dive into making a new Mac user:
Step 1. In the top left-hand corner click the Apple Menu ()
Step 2. From the Apple menu select System Preferences

Step 6. Select the Pop-up Menu to choose the type of New Account Type
You have a choice between
- Administrator
- Standard
- Sharing Only
Administrator – An administrator Mac account can add and manage other users’ installation of apps and change settings on the Mac.
Standard – An administrator account sets up the standard account. A standard Mac user can install apps and make setting changes on their profile. However, a standard account can not make new users or make setting changes on other user accounts.
Sharing – The most basic account is the Sharing account and they only have access to the shared files. They are unable to make any setting changes or install any apps.

Step 7. Enter the Name, Password and verify the information

Step 9. Your new account will be available
