I love how the Mac has a feature that saves all the Networks that you connect to over the years. While this is great there are times when it can become a hindrance. So you will want to learn how to forget a Wi-Fi network on your Mac.
- In the top left-hand corner click the Apple Menu ()
- From the Apple menu select System Preferences
- On the system preferences select Network
- Select Wi-Fi from the left-hand side
- With Wi-Fi selected click the Advanced button
- On the advanced window select the Network you want to forget to highlight it
- Now select the (-) button below the list
- Click “ok“
- Now Click “Apply” to confirm the changes

How to Forget a Wi-Fi Network on Mac
If you have a Wi-Fi network that your Mac is connecting to and the password has changed. You will start to get a warning message that can become very annoying.
You will want to rid of that network from your list and to do that you want to:
Step 1. In the top left-hand corner click the Apple Menu ()
Step 2. From the Apple menu select System Preferences
Step 3. On the system preferences select Network
Step 4. Select Wi-Fi from the left-hand side
Step 5. With Wi-Fi selected click the Advanced button
Step 6. On the advanced window select the Network you want to forget to highlight it
Step 7. Now select the (-) button below the list to remove the network
Step 8. Click “ok“
Step 9. Now Click “Apply” to confirm the changes
