Are you struggling to type the Hashtag (#) on the Mac? Well, that could be because many Macs don’t come with a dedicated Hashtag key. So I will show you How to do hashtags on Mac.
How To Type A Hashtag On Mac Keyboards
When using the English – U.S keyboard the easiest way to type the Hashtag is to press Shift (⇧) + 3. The Mac will then output the Hashtag (#) into any text field.
It is worth pointing out that this shortcode may not work on all keyboard languages. If you want to type the Logo you will need to change the keyboard language. Or find out the keyboard shortcode for the keyboard layout you are using.
For instance, the English – British keyboard layout is done differently and you need to press Option (⌥) + 3. The Mac will then output the Hashtag (#) into any text field.
