- In the top left-hand corner click the Apple Menu ()
- From the Apple menu select System Preferences
- On the system preferences select Energy Saver
- Now on the energy saver page select “Power” from the left menu
- From the power page toggle, the slider “Turn display off after” to Never

How to Keep Your Mac From Sleeping

You can alter the setting to keep the screen on longer which may overcome any problems you are having.
