How to Keep Your Mac Screen On

Your Mac is built to give you maximum power efficiency. Now, this is great but can become annoying when your screen keeps turning off. Overcoming the problem is quick and easy and only one setting needs changing I’ll show what it is and How to Keep Your Mac Screen On.

  1. In the top left-hand corner click the Apple Menu ()
  2. From the Apple menu select System Preferences
  3. On the system preferences select Energy Saver
  4. Now on the energy saver page select “Power” from the left menu
  5. From the power page toggle, the slider “Turn display off after” to Never

How to Keep Your Mac From Sleeping

While below we are showing you how to completely stop your Mac screen from switching off.

You can alter the setting to keep the screen on longer which may overcome any problems you are having.

Step 1. In the top left-hand corner click the Apple Menu ()

Step 2. From the Apple menu select System Preferences

Step 3. On the system preferences select Energy Saver

Step 4. Now on the energy saver page select “Power” from the left menu

Step 5. From the power page toggle, the Turn display off after to Never

You can adjust the setting to more minutes if you don’t want the screen to never turn off.
